News Blogs (blog) Apr 7th 2012, 06:51 VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Media reports say a U.S. Navy jet crashed in Virginia and the two pilots aboard are believed to have ejected before the impact. There are no reports of any injuries on the ground. Photographs from the scene show black smoke billowing from near some buildings. The Virginian-Pilot newspaper quotes a spokesman for Naval Air Force Atlantic who says the F/A-18 Hornet crashed Friday. A Navy spokesman reached by phone could not immediately comment.
