This weekend NASCAR drivers head to Fort Worth, Texas where Sprint Cup Series drivers will race in the Samsung Mobile 500 on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Who will capture the checkered flag? Here is a look at the top five Sprint Cup drivers with the best chances to win.

Matt Kenseth

Matt Kenseth, hands down, has the best chances to win the Samsung Mobile 500 this weekend. He's got two wins, ten top-fives and 13 top-tens at the Texas track with an average finish of 8.7. It was here that Kenseth snapped his 76-race winless drought in 2011 dominating on that Saturday spring night with a race-high 169 laps.

Kenseth has already got some good momentum going early in the 2012 season, with a fourth place finish at Martinsville on April 1 and a win at the prestigious Daytona 500 in February.

Carl Edwards

Carl Edwards has the most wins at the Texas Motor Speedway with three, and in 2011, he placed in the top-five at both races on the track. He's one of two drivers to sweep the season here (the other was Denny Hamlin in 2010), taking the honor back in 2008. He's got five top-fives and six top-tens with a 15.5 average race finish, but more than anything I think it's his recent record that bodes well for him taking at least a top-five finish this weekend.

Greg Biffle

Greg Biffle is the current leader of the Sprint Cup Series standings and has o ne win, six top-fives and nine top-tens at the Texas track. Despite the fact that he hasn't had a victory since 2010, he's got the momentum going this season and this could be his time to shine. In November 2011's race he was the pole winner with a speed of 193.736 and finished in fifth place.

Tony Stewart

Tony Stewart was the winner of the AAA Texas 500 here last November with a race-high 173 laps in his No. 14 Office Depot Chevrolet and he holds the track speed record at 152.706 mph. It was his second victory here, and in 2012 he's already got two wins in just six races. With his confidence running high, I wouldn't be surprised to see Stewart captured the checkered flag once again on Saturday.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

With nearly four years passing since Junior's last win, I hesitate to put him on the list, but he is sitting at second place in the Sprint Cup Series standings and scored the first win of his Sprint Cup career here back in 2000. He's one of only five drivers who've won two poles here and has three top-fives and ten top-tens with an average race finish of 14.1. Can he finally break his 135-race winless streak? I'd like to think so.
