For the third straight weekend, "The Hunger Games" topped the domestic box office netting $33.5 million over Easter weekend.

Starring Jennifer Lawrence as heroine Katniss Everdeen, "The Hunger Games," with a combined domestic box office total of $302.8 million, set a box-office record as the fastest nonsummer and nonsequel movie to break $300 million, which it did in 17 days, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

On Friday, "The Hunger Games," based on the best-selling young adult series from author Suzanne Collins, crossed $400 million worldwide.

Meanwhile, there's good news for Lawrence and fans:

Lionsgate, the studio behind "Hunger Games," and 20th Century Fox, which produced "X-Men: First Class," reportedly have settled a potential conflict over Lawrence's upcoming filming schedule so both can use her in their respective film franchises.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sequel to Fox's "X-Men: First Class" will begin shooting in January, so Lawrence -- who played shape-shifter Mystique in the superhero movie -- will be available to film the sequel to "The Hunger Games" this fall.

"Catching Fire" is set to begin production in August or September. "Hunger Games" director Gary Ross announced last week, according to IndieWire, that he won't helm the film's sequel. It is to be released in November 2013.

Here's a look at the full weekend box office:

1. " The Hunger Games," $33.5 million.

2. " American Reunion," $21.5 million.

3. " Titanic" in 3D, $17.4 million.

4. " Wrath of the Titans," $15 million.

5. " Mirror Mirror," $11 million.

6. " 21 Jump Street," $10.2 million.

7. " Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," $5 million.

8. " Salmon Fishing in the Yemen," $975,000.

9. " John Carter," $820,000.

10. " Safe House," $581,000.

More trouble for Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan, who was warned by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner as Lohan completed her probation last month to "stop the nightclubbing," was accused of having an altercation with another woman in an L.A. nightclub on Thursday.

On Saturday, a woman filed a report with the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department, claiming to have had a fight with Lohan because the actress was upset that the woman was talking to a male friend of hers, www.tmz.com reports.

Lohan's rep dismissed the allegation to www.gossipcop.com. Police reportedly are still investigating the incident.
